Vyasa Bliss

Optometrist

Vyasa's journey in optometry has taken him from the Gold Coast to Tasmania and all the way to Ireland, and we're delighted to welcome him back to where part of his journey began!

With a strong interest in science, healthcare and helping others, Vyasa discovered his passion for optometry while still in high school. He went on to study at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), graduating with a degree in optometry.

From 2019 to 2022, Vyasa was part of the Vision Michael Hare team as an optical assistant, gaining valuable experience in the industry while completing his studies. After graduating, he moved to Tasmania, where he spent approximately 18 months working as an optometrist before setting off on an adventure overseas.

His travels eventually took him to Dublin, Ireland, where he continued developing his clinical skills and gaining experience working alongside other optometrists in a busy practice environment.

Now returning to Vision Michael Hare as a qualified optometrist, Vyasa brings with him a wealth of experiences from both Australia and abroad. He enjoys the opportunity to continue learning, collaborating with colleagues and helping patients look after their eye health.

Outside of optometry, Vyasa has a love for travel, exploring new places and embracing new experiences.

Fun fact: Vyasa and Michael Hare were once teammates on a Gold Coast touch football team, and even won a premiership together! Back on the same team now at Vision Michael Hare!
