David Lincoln

Optometrist

David graduated from QUT in 1990 and has practised on the Gold Coast ever since. In 2000, he launched Vision Optical—a pioneering co‑management optometry clinic—before merging his patients into the VISION Michael Hare family in 2022. He’s known for calmly guiding patients through all their options, from customised eyewear to surgical referrals, and has contributed to immunology research and sunglass compliance testing.

David's consultations are relaxed and highly informative, helping patients feel confident in their choices. A lifelong Gold Coast local, he’s active in Surf Life Saving and enjoys photography and fishing with his family. His down-to-earth manner and decades of experience offer reassuring continuity in every visit.
