Peter Keary

Optometrist

Peter graduated from QUT in 1980 and began his career in Adelaide, including work at Yatala Prison. After a working holiday with his wife Leah, the Gold Coast became home in 2008. He joined the VISION Michael Hare team in 2019.

Peter enjoys all aspects of optometry, from disease detection to children’s vision. His consultations are friendly, detailed, and approachable. A keen runner and cyclist, he can often be found on local trails or beaches. Patients value his genuine interest in their wellbeing and his calm, experienced care.
