Raj Maiti

Optometrist

Raj graduated with Honours from the University of Auckland in 2013 and holds a Certificate in Advanced Contact Lenses. A qualified ocular prescriber, he previously ran a dry eye clinic alongside corneal surgeons and volunteered with Red Cross disaster management, including during the Christchurch earthquake. In his spare time Raj also owns an optometry practice in Brisbane!



Raj specialises in therapeutic care, dry eye management, and specialty contact lenses. Since relocating to the Gold Coast in 2019, he’s become known for his methodical, patient-centred consultations. Outside of work, he enjoys national park hikes and beach swims with his young son.
