Lara began her optical career at 21, working in a luxury eyewear boutique in Surfers Paradise—where she met Marion, who inspired her to pursue optical dispensing. Born in Italy, Lara brings a European flair to everything from frame styling to selecting seasonal collections.

She’s passionate about helping patients feel confident in their glasses and is a skilled lens cutter, with a love for the hands-on side of the craft. Lara worked with Michael Hare over 20 years ago and has returned to the practice with a deep sense of pride and loyalty.

Outside of work, she’s a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu, a mum of two, and a beach-loving foodie. Her advice? Never offer an Italian pineapple on pizza—some rules are sacred!
